Size guide

These are adapted EU sizes, not standard EU sizes. Please check the chart against your own measurements before ordering — and if anything is unclear, message us first. We reply within one business day.

Finding the right fit should be effortless. Our charts are built around body measurements, not garment sizes, so measure your waist, hips and thighs and match them to the tables below.

How to choose your size by body measurements

To find your ideal size you need three measurements.

Waist: measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh.

A note on the waist: our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the size fits your hips and thighs comfortably, the waist can differ by roughly 20% and still fit well.

Measuring while seated or lying down

Standing is not always possible, and you can measure just as accurately sitting in your chair or lying down.

Waist: if you are seated, lean slightly to one side to expose your natural waistline. Lying down, simply find your natural waist and measure around it.

Hips: pass the tape around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, keeping it as level as you can.

Thighs: measure around the fullest part of one thigh with the leg relaxed.

No measuring tape? Use a piece of string

A ribbon, rope or piece of string works just as well.

Wrap it comfortably around the area you are measuring while seated or lying down, mark the point where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.

Compare with a garment you already own

For an even closer fit, measure a pair of trousers or a top that already fits you well.

Lay the item flat, measure the relevant dimensions such as inseam, waist width and hip width for trousers, or chest width and sleeve length for tops, then compare them with the garment measurements on the product page.

Our trousers have an adjustable waist, so if the hips and thighs fit, the waist can differ by around 20% and still fit well. Measuring while seated or lying down is fine — that is how most of our customers do it.

Description

This comfortable and durable leg strap is designed to provide support and stability during various activities. Whether you're driving, using a wheelchair, or simply need extra support, this strap can help keep your legs securely positioned.

Key Features

Adjustable Sizing: Available in four sizes to ensure a perfect fit.
Comfortable and Secure: Made with soft, elastic webbing and secure hook and loop closures.
Versatile Use: Ideal for driving, wheelchair activities, and more.
Easy to Use: Simply wrap the strap around your legs and adjust to your desired tightness.

Available Sizes

Extra Small:
Fits 23.6 - 29.5 inches (60 - 75 cm) combined leg circumference
Length: 75 cm (loose end to end, including hook and loop parts)

Small:
Fits 27.6 - 37.4 inches (70 - 95 cm) combined leg circumference
Length: 85 cm (loose end to end, including hook and loop parts)

Medium:
Fits 33.5 - 43.3 inches (85 - 110 cm) combined leg circumference
Length: 100 cm (loose end to end, including hook and loop parts)

Large:
Fits 39.4 - 49.2 inches (100-125 cm) combined leg circumference
Length: 115 cm (loose end to end, including hook and loop parts)

The strap is measured end-to-end in its loose state, and then the overlay part is subtracted. For example, a size small is 33.46 inches (85 cm) end-to-end, and the overlay part is 5.9 inches (15 cm). So, it fits if both leg circumferences are between 27.56 and 37.40 inches (70 - 95 cm).

Please note: The measurements in parentheses (70 cm - 95 cm) represent the loose and stretched states of the strap, respectively.

All sizes are 3.94 inches (10 cm) wide.

Where we ship
All of Europe, including non-EU countries such as Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Serbia and Montenegro. Outside Europe we ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel and South Africa.

We currently do not ship to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the rest of Asia, the rest of Africa or South America.

Duties and taxes
For the whole EU, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand we pay the duties and taxes ourselves — your parcel arrives at your door with nothing extra to pay.

For all other destinations, customs duties and local taxes are payable by the buyer on arrival. For the United Kingdom, adaptive clothing is in principle VAT exempt, but there is no dedicated customs code for these products, so in practice the charge is usually collected at the border and has to be reclaimed from HMRC afterwards.

Dispatch and delivery
Orders are dispatched within 5 working days unless the product page states otherwise. Delivery time then depends on the destination country, the carrier and the delivery method you choose. In exceptional cases, such as pre-sale items, we reserve the right to dispatch within up to 45 calendar days, and we will always tell you beforehand.

We deliver with parcel lockers or courier services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, before you confirm the order.

Returns and exchanges
We do not provide return labels, and return shipping is paid by the buyer. If you would like a different size, we offer one free exchange per order. If you are unsure about sizing, fit or any detail of the product, contact us before ordering — we will help you choose the right option.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to receive my order?

Many of our products are in stock, others are made to order. In most cases we ship within 1 to 5 days. If demand is unusually high, which tends to happen after exhibitions, we let you know about any delay. The same applies to orders that include a length adjustment.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and selected shipping method. Orders can be delivered by courier or to an available parcel locker or collection point.

Can I return an item, and can you send me a return label?

You have two months from delivery to return an item. We set that period deliberately long, knowing how unpredictable daily life can be.

As a small workshop we cannot provide prepaid return labels, so returns are sent at your own cost. Once we receive and inspect the item we refund you within 3 business days. If you want to exchange for a different size, we cover sending the replacement once. Items made to your own measurements cannot be returned.

Is your clothing easy to wash and care for?

Yes, and we design for it deliberately. Even our multi-layer insulated pieces go through a regular washing machine cycle. Adaptive clothing should fit into your routine, not add another complicated step to it.

How does the front access panel work?

On garments with this feature the front panel drops down to give direct access for catheterisation without removing your trousers. From the outside it looks like an ordinary pocket, so the function stays private unless you choose to use it.

Customer reviews

Everything went perfect, material much better than expected, shipment on time

I am in a wheelchair and this is going to help so much… Actually, it already has!

Perfect quality and design.

This strap is perfect for my needs, keeping my knees safely together and thereby avoiding bruises from collisions with doorways. The strap fits and has just enough elastic to make it practical and comfortable. The quality is impressive and I am surprised that it can be supplied and shipped from Latvia at such a reasonable price. I recommend Vilber's to anyone looking for good quality and design.
