One jacket for every day, every weather. No extra layers, no backup plan, no staying home because of rain.
Most wheelchair users know the drill.
You check the forecast. It looks uncertain. You think about whether it's worth going out, whether you have the right jacket, whether you'll be cold, wet, or both by the time you get back. And sometimes you just don't go.
The Vilber's Adaptive Raincoat is designed to remove that calculation entirely.
It's not a rain jacket you pack for emergencies. It's an everyday jacket that happens to handle rain, wind, and cold without making you feel like you're wearing a plastic bag. The 3-ply softshell fabric with a breathable membrane protects against wind and rain while actively letting moisture out, so you stay comfortable whether you're out for an hour or all day.
It's cut for the seated position — long enough to cover your knees and thighs, shaped so it doesn't interfere with your wheels or catch on the rims, and compatible with power add-ons like a Batec. You can wear it directly over a t-shirt. No base layers required.
When the weather turns, you're already ready.
The fabric: 3-ply softshell, 96% polyester, 4% elastane. Soft fleece inner layer, protective membrane outer layer. Water resistance 8000g/m²/24h. Retains its shape after washing.
Details: Water-resistant zipper, minimal seaming with glued seams, large adjustable hood, reflective trim on hood edge, front zip and sleeves. Available in black and red. Longer cut available for heights above 185 cm.
Why this replaces your current system:
A standard rain jacket stops at the waist. Your lap, thighs and knees get wet. A poncho covers more but catches in the wheels and looks like exactly what it is.
The Vilber's Adaptive Raincoat is cut specifically for wheelchair users - full coverage without the bulk, freedom of movement without the compromise. One jacket. Leave the house. Done.
Sizing & style:
Available in black and red. Three sizes, two lengths, choose the longer cut if your height is above 185 cm. The raincoat is also available with an optional belt, which creates a more fitted, feminine silhouette.
Care:
Wash as you would sports or technical outerwear: gentle cycle, no fabric softener, as it reduces breathability and water resistance over time. For everyday dirt, a damp cloth is enough.
